APPLICATION

BLACK: Use as eyeliner by drawing a precise line along the upper lash line. Make sure the pencil is well sharpened and hold it at an angle. For quick smoky eyes, hold the pencil flat and draw a somewhat broader fine line along the upper and lower lash lines. Then blend the color softly with a dry cotton swab or a brush (such as STAGECOLOR EYE CONTOUR BRUSH, No. 63276).

SHINING LIGHT: An amazing all-rounder! This shimmering color creates captivating highlights, transforming a natural all-day look into glamorous evening make-up. Apply SHINING LIGHT alone as eyeshadow on the movable lid, as highlighter under the eyebrows, at the inner corner of the eyes or on top of other eyeshadow, such as on the center of the eyelid. It can also be used to create shimmering highlights on the cheekbones or in the Cupid’s bow of the lips. For precise, targeted application, hold the pencil at an angle. For larger surfaces and softer results, apply the color while holding the pencil flat.

PROFESSIONAL TIP!

• The eyeliner becomes even more intensive when applied on top of eyeshadow. For a softer, more subtle look, use a brush to dust eyeshadow over the eyeliner.
• To make creating a precise line easier, pull the eyelid taut with a finger on the opposite hand and draw several smaller, connecting “dashes” with the eyeliner instead of a single line.
• Applying BLACK to the upper waterline gives eyes an especially sensuous and intensive depth. Do not apply liner to the inside corner of the eye to prevent it from beading there. Be careful applying liner to the lower waterline. This technique only works well on very large eyes and younger women as it makes the eyes appear smaller and can look somewhat old-fashioned.
• Applying a thick line of BLACK to the lower lashline is a no-no. It creates eyes with a droopy, tired owl look and will make any woman appear older.
